Dr. Jo is a graduate of Loma Linda University and is board-certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. He is a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society. He is an Assistant Professor of Orthodontics for the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and has been providing clinical supervision at the graduate orthodontic clinic for over 20 years. He has been recognized for his service to the people of Korea by the American Dental Association, and has served the underprivileged through local and international dental mission trips. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, gardening, barbecuing and spending time with his wife of 40+ years and their three adult children. He also volunteers countless hours in leadership and service to his local church.

Dr. Jo is recognized as THE premier orthodontist to address the myriad of issues involved in more complex cases, such as surgical, cranio-facial anomaly, or cleft palate cases. He currently serves as a consultant orthodontist for the Southern California Kaiser Permanente Craniofacial Team, the Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital Craniofacial Team, and the University of California at Riverside Craniofacial Team and receives referrals from these multidisciplinary specialty teams. He also treats children with special needs. Patients often travel from all over Southern California to be treated by an orthodontist of his caliber.
